Aspen Custom Electronics began years ago in Matt Hall's mind as a vision of where the consumer electronics field was moving. Passionate about solidifying that dream, Matt and Melissa Hall took a trip to New Mexico to brainstorm what the future held. As they wove together the final details of the business, Matt and Melissa looked around at the Aspen trees - what better name for their infant company than the place it was born. Right there, Aspen Custom Electronics became more than just a vision - it became a reality and soon catapulted into a regional leader within the custom electronics industry.

With years of consumer and custom electronics industry experience, Matt focuses each day on ensuring your project runs smoothly and to your satisfaction. Knowing that expert training is key to developing the perfect system for your needs, Matt earned:
- A bachelor's degree in finance from Oklahoma State University
- Advanced education in mechanical engineering from Oklahoma State University
- Certification in copper and fiber optic cabling from Lucent Technology
- Imaging Science Foundation certification for video calibration
- Home Acoustic Alliance certification
- Qualified as a Microsoft Certified System Engineer
- Sencore certification on video and audio test and calibration tools

“After years of experience and holding positions in every area of the business from customer service to design and technical support to integration, my favorite part of the custom electronics business is working directly with customers,” Matt explains. “The most rewarding part of the process is seeing our customers’ satisfaction when their final system meets all their needs and desires. Natives of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, Matt and Melissa Hall made Stillwater their home in the 1990s and enjoy raising their teenage son here. In his personal time, Matt enjoys hiking, climbing and working on home projects with Melissa. The Halls are active members of Sunnybrook Christian Church.

Having a long working relationship with Scott, Matt knew his clients could trust Scott's expertise, experience and enthusiasm that are essential to Aspen Custom Electronics' success. Together, the two teamed up at the launch of Aspen and have been showering the benefits of that easy-going, experience-packed relationship on customers, like you, ever since!
Scott manages system implementation for Aspen and works side-by-side with customers and contractors, ensuring each unique system is flawless. Scott received his immense background knowledge from earning:

“Custom electronics keeps me feeling like a lifelong student – the industry is never static and always teaching me something new, which I love,” Scott says. “Working with the customers is always the most rewarding part of the job. Most customers have been conditioned over the years to believe that technology has to be difficult and confusing. When you can put the control in their hand and demonstrate to them that the system will do what they want when they want, it always puts a big smile on their face. This moment makes all the hard work worth it.”

Scott grew up throughout the Midwest and beyond and now enjoys permanent residence in Stillwater, Oklahoma with his wife Sherry (who recently graduated from Oklahoma State University with a focus on early childhood education – congratulations Sherry!). Scott enjoys the outdoors, camping, fishing and exploring in his Jeep during his personal time. He also loves nice road trips on his motorcycle with Sherry.
